Pediatrics

Gurbir S. Saluja, MD, FAAP, is a founding partner of Advocare Vernon Pediatric & Family Care. He is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric hematology and oncology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Gurbir  Saluja was chief resident while completing his pediatric residency training at Queens Hospital Center in New York. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at New York's Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center in 1975. Dr. Saluja received dual bachelor's degrees in medicine and surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.

Dr. Gurbir Saluja is on staff at Newton Memorial Hospital, Morristown Memorial Hospital (Goryeb Children's Hospital) and St. Clare's Hospital. He was previously chief of staff and chief of pediatrics at two local hospitals, and served as school physician for the Hamburg School System for more than 20 years. Dr. Saluja has also been named a New Jersey Favorite Kids' Docs from New Jersey Family magazine multiple times.

A founding partner of Advocare Vernon Pediatric & Family Care, Dr. Manmohan Saluja completed her pediatric residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). She earned her bachelor's degrees in medicine and surgery at King George Medical College, India.

Dr. Manmohan Saluja is an honorary staff member at Newton Memorial Hospital and St. Clare's Hospital. Since 1981, she has served as medical director for the Lake Hopatcong Child Health Clinic, providing healthcare for the uninsured and under-insured. Dr. Manmohan Saluja previously served as medical director of the Sussex County Health Department and the Sparta Child Health Clinic.

The co-founding partners have two sons. After dedicating many years to Advocare Vernon Pediatric & Family Care, the founders, are now retired and spending time with their grandchildren.
